Dopo mesi e mesi di assenza (che vergogna) cerchiamo di riprendere in mano il blog (sarà l'inverno che mi ha depresso a tal punto da dimenticarmi la moda?? :D).
Comunque, stavo cercando una cremina per il viso come si deve leggendo il forum L'angolo di Lola - per chi non lo conoscesse, è un ottimo sito dove cercare ingredienti dei vari prodotti e avere ottime recensioni - e ho trovato questa crema della linea bioecologica di Bottega Verde all'estratto di stella alpina e mandorle dolci. Così mi sono detta "Beh, visto che la consiglia Lola, andiamo a provarla". Sono andata da Bottega Verde intenzionata in realtà solo a vedere il costo della crema, visto che questo mese ho duecento compleanni e i conseguenti regali mi hanno lasciata un po' in mutande, come si suol dire. Entro in negozio, do un occhio in giro, cado in amore con una crema alla vaniglia e cardamomo; vado avanti, trovo la linea bioecologica e noto che la cremina recensita da Lola costa circa 21 €.
Poi la commessa nota che sto gironzolando e mi fa "Sai che oggi su tutti i prodotti facciamo il 60% di sconto?".
Eccomi quindi qui a casa con la mia cremina.

Gli ingredienti sono ottimi e il profumo è fantastico (so che molte non lo amano perché risulta un po' forte, io personalmente lo trovo invece molto delicato.. non saprei dire di cosa sa, perché non ho mai annusato una stella alpina, in verità :D di sicuro non sa di mandorle, cosa positiva, dal mio punto di vista). La consistenza in barattolo è molto densa, ma non lo è affatto quando si tratta di stenderlo sulla pelle. Ovviamente non posso dire come mi sto trovando, visto che l'ho acquistata ieri.

Ieri ho fatto anche qualche altra spesuccia, in particolare un altro (sì, ne ho già) saponcino della Nesti Dante. Ora, io di questa marca, a livello di INCI ecc. non so assolutamente nulla, se non che i saponi vengono prodotti a Firenze. Però, devo ammettere che per quanto riguarda i saponi, i bagno doccia, i bagnoschiuma, e in generale tutto quello che non va sulla mia faccia e sui miei capelli, mi frega relativamente poco. L'importante è che abbia un buon profumo :D
Ed ecco che quindi, dopo il sapone al papavero, arriva questo alla pesca e melone. Ha l'odore più estivo del mondo. Che purtroppo se andrà in uno dei regali sopra citati. Ma medito di ricomprarlo per me medesima (ma se in effetti volete regalarlo, come ho fatto io, i prodotti della Nesti Dante hanno sempre delle gran belle confezioni, potreste fare la vostra porca figura).

First news:
Now you can follow me on LookBook too, link's in the sidebar (I wanted so much to be on LookBook, but it's only on invite.. and I was invited ^^ I can't thank enough my friend Julija for that.. take a look at her Flickr, she's an amazing photographer!). Right now I haven't posted anything – I don't have new pictures, I'm very busy on an exam and I don't feel very inspired at the moment.. I'm quite stressed. But I will get the chance to post on LookBook soon :D
Second news:
Me and my beloved friend Gossip Girl (for those of you who don't know who is she, take a look here) went to a meeting with one of the famous Youtube make up gurus, Bluebeam. She's a lovely person, not only an awesome make up artist (I was really impressed with the work she did on John Keats's poetry, she was extremely competent and so good at transmitting her sensations; I let her know at the meeting).
Practically everything happened at the MAC store in Bologna, with the collaboration of the staff, for MAC Fabulous Felines coming out; Federica's (Bluebeam's) idea was to do something, a drawing, a poem, a joke, a whatever, inspired by cats. So, after a day spent studying Ancient Rome History, Gossip Girl and I participated with a joke and a drawing on a cat-like Cleopatra.
And.. guess what? We won!
We were both so excited – for me it was the very first time I won something!!! -, and we divided the prize: Splashing lipgloss from the previous collection To The Beach (it's a delicious candy pink.. I'm wearing it like everyday, tomorrow - now there isn't enough light to take photos - I'll put a picture), a lip pencil (sorry, Gossip Girl kept it and I don't remember the name.. I will post it as soon as she tells me!) and Vintage Grape blush from Spring Color forecast 3 (I know it seems unwearable, but I can assure that once that you put it on, it makes a great effect). Plus, we have a free make up session with MAC make up artists, to book when we want to, some previews on their next collections (something thrilling is coming out!), and the possibility to take part at their pro-classes.

Seconda notizia:
Sono andata con la mia carissima Gossip Girl (se non sapete chi è leggete qui) all'incontro organizzato da una delle famose make up guru di Youtube, Bluebeam. Lei è una persona deliziosa, non solo una brava truccatrice (io rimasi estasiata dal lavoro che fece qualche tempo fa su John Keats, rivelandosi estremamente competente e bravissima a trasmettere le sue sensazioni; non ho mancato di farglielo sapere all'incontro).
Praticamente tutto si è svolto alla MAC di Bologna, con la loro collaborazione, in occasione dell'uscita della special edition Fabulous Felines; così, l'idea di Federica (Bluebeam) era quella di fare qualcosa, che fosse un disegno, una poesia, una filastrocca, un aforisma, un qualunque cosa ispirato ai gatti. Così, prese un po' alla sprovvista e reduci da una mattinata passata a studiare storia romana, io e Gossip Girl abbiamo partecipato con una battuta e un disegno sulla versione gatto di Cleopatra.
E abbiamo vinto!
Eravamo esaltatissime tutte e due – io è la primissima volta che vinco qualcosa in vita mia!!! -, e ci siamo divise il premio che consisteva in: il lucidalabbra Splashing della precedente collezione To The Beach (che è un punto di rosa strepitoso.. lo sto portando praticamente sempre, domani - oggi no perché non c'è più luce e non posso scattare - metto una foto), una matita labbra (ce l'ha Gossip Girl e quindi non mi ricordo cos'era.. appena la sento ve lo dico!) e il blush Vintage Grape della Spring Color Forecast 3 (lo so che sembra importabile, ma vi assicuro che una volta steso fa un bellissimo effetto). In più, abbiamo un trucco gratuito a testa, fatto dai make up artist della MAC, da prenotare quando vogliamo, le anticipazioni sulle loro prossime collezioni (ce ne saranno delle belle!), e la possibilità di partecipare a un corso pro di trucco per dipendenti MAC.

Oh, last thing: since I may spend this weekend with the boy, I bought at Lush (check out their site! It's superfun) a special soap (it's called “spumantina”) that you can put in the water to make water golden. It's called Tinkerbell.. and now I know why.. I'm like tinkerbelling fairy gold dust everywhere.
(I love Lush.. they have the best names.. could you resist to something named Popi-Popi that you have to put on your breasts, and to a brand that has as a motto “Everything can be touched and smelled – except the staff”??).

Già che ci sono, ne approfitto per mettere alcune foto che mi ha fatto il moroso a Parigi ^^
Oh, l'ultima cosa: siccome questo weekend forse lo passeremo insieme, ho comprato, da mettere nella vasca da bagno, una delle “spumantine” di Lush (andate a vedere il loro sito, è troppo divertente), che fa l'acqua dorata. Si chiama Trilly, e ora capisco perché.. l'ho presa in mano e adesso sto spargendo polvere di fata ovunque.
(Adoro Lush.. hanno dei nomi fantastici. Come si fa a resistere a qualcosa chiamato Popi-Popi che va messo sul decolleté, e a una ditta che ha come motto “Tutto può essere toccato e annusato – tranne lo staff”??).

Hello! I've just come back from Paris with the boy, we had such a great time! I will post the pictures soon, we made some in front of the Eiffel Tower that I really like (with a skirt he bought to me - such a good boy ^^). Plus, I also got the Vanity Fair edition with GaGa in the front cover, as I said some posts ago.
I leave here this picture I made yesterday inspired from a GaGa one (surprise, surprise! LOL). The fantastic "blowing in the wind" hair effect I had holding a wonderful blowdryer with my left foot hahahah.

P.S. Oh, and a friend of my finally came back from New York, and she brought OPI You Don't Know Jacques nail polish, which I've been expected for a while cause here I absolutely cannot find it. I love the color, but it's normal that after one day it has already chip?

Ehi! Sono tornata da Parigi col moroso, ci siamo divertiti un sacco! Posterò presto delle foto che abbiamo fatto davanti alla Tour Eiffel che mi piacciono molto (con una gonna che mi ha comprato lui - che bravo ragazzo ^^). Ho anche trovato l'edizione di Vanity Fair con GaGa in copertina, come avevo scritto qualche post fa. Lascio intanto questa foto che ho fatto ieri, ispirata a una di Lady GaGa (ma no?!?!). Il fantastico effetto dei capelli "blowing in the wind" è dato da un meraviglioso phon che stavo tenendo fermo a terra con il piede sinistro hahaha.

P.S. Oh, e una mia amica è finalmente tornata da New York, e mi ha portato lo smalto You Don't Know Jacques della OPI, che qui è pressocché introvabile, come colore. Lo adoro, ma è normale che dopo un giorno mi si sia già sminchiato?

Raise your hands up if you love Lady GaGa!
Today I watched some pictures online on her latest interview for the September issue of US Vanity Fair; all that white and greige got me an idea to take some pictures, and I have some brand new shoes to show off, so is there a better time to write a post here?

The ultra-gray pictures for Vanity Fair were taken by Nick Knight, famous for his experimental and powerful fashion images; he worked for a lot of the biggest couturier, like Alexander McQueen, Christian Dior and Yohji Yamamoto. And we love his work with GaGa.

Look forward to get the magazine!!!

Oggi stavo guardando alcune foto della sua ultima intervista per il numero di Settembre di Vanity Fair Stati Uniti; tutto quel bianco e greige mi ha fatto venire un'idea per delle foto, e in più ho delle scarpe nuove da mostrare, quindi quale momento migliore per scrivere un post?

Today I was at a friend's house, she had to go to a wedding and she asked me to do her hair&make up. She does a lot of things that I usually can't stand, like to use curling iron without any heat protector. That made me think to things I like or don't concerning style and make up.

1. PROTECTION FOR YOUR SKIN.
A lot of people use make up directly on bare skin, without a primer, or even moisturizer. I never do that: skin has to be protected all the time (and make up will last so much longer!).

2. FIVE ESSENTIALS.
Don't buy tons of eyeshadows, crayons, blushes, etc, if you don't have the 5 essentials:
- eyeliner: gives always a sexy, sophisticated look, just with a simple line.
- a good concealer (I still haven't found a concealer that suits me.. please help if you know some good brand ;)
- finishing powder: especially during summer, if you think foundation is too heavy, and you have a pretty good skin that doesn't need too much coverage, some powder makes magic. Personally, the best powder I found is La Roche-Posay Unifiance Libre Poudre.
- foundation: please, please, your skin tone, or one shade lighter. Best product ever: MAC Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15.
- mascara: nice in every occasion, and if you have no time to put your make up on, there's always some minutes to put a bit of mascara. Product ♥: CoverGirl LashBlast Volume Blasting.

3. IT'S NEVER TOO MUCH.
I hate when a person wears an outfit, it fits perfectly, but this person asks you: "isn't it too much?"; too much.. what? it is great on you, don't be afraid to wear it just because someone could say something (like, you know.. "she's too naked", "that dress is too bold", "accessories are too weird" etc.). My first rule is "I like it. It looks good on me. Then go for it, girl!".

4. YOUR COLOURS ARE THE BEST COLOURS YOU HAVE.
When summer comes, here is like everyone's got taken by the tan fever. Everyone has to be tanned. Better than tanned, burned. Charcoal. When the first sun comes out, most of my friends run to put themselves on a tanning bed, or they use a foundation which is two shades darker than their skin, and they don't even use SPF. I use SPF 30 all year long (my favourite product is Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess - it has the most fabulous scent) and they look at me like I'm a fool. I've tried to explain them that sun is bad for your skin, but the tan fever's got them, and it's too late LOL. Plus, they blame me because I'm to pale. But I love my skin tone. I think that everybody should be happy with theirs :)

5. EVERYONE HAS HIS OWN PERFUME.
I don't like when people try to convince me to try their fragrances and eau de toilette. I mean, if I like it on you, doesn't mean that I like it on me. I have one or two fragrances that I like on me(for example Eternity For Man by Calvin Klein) - I'm very picky when it comes to perfume - and I always use those. Plus I prefer to use scented body lotions than perfume, alcohol is not my thing :)

Oggi ero a casa di un'amica, doveva andare a un matrimonio e mi ha chiesto di farle trucco e capelli. E' abituata a fare un sacco di cose che di solito non sopporto, tipo usare la piastra senza nessuna protezione per i capelli. Questo mi ha fatto pensare alle cose che mi piacciono e che non mi piacciono relativamente a stile e trucco.

1. PROTEGGERE LA PELLE.
Un sacco di persone usano il trucco direttamente sulla pelle, senza un primer o una crema idratante. Non lo faccio mai: la pelle deve essere protetta sempre (e il trucco durerà molto di più!).

2. I 5 ESSENZIALI.
Non comprare tonnellate di ombretti, matite, blush, ecc, se non hai i 5 essenziali:
- eyeliner: dà sempre un look sexy e sofisticato, anche solo con una semplice linea.
- un buon correttore (ancora non ne ho trovato uno che mi piaccia davvero..per favore datemi una mano se avete qualche marca con la quale vi siete trovate bene ;)
- cipria: specialmente durante l'estate, se pensate che il fondotinta sia una copertura troppo pesante, e se avete una bella pelle che non necessita di essere coperta, un po' di cipria fa magie. Personalmente, la cipria migliore che ho mai trovato è La Roche-Posay Unifiance Libre Poudre.
- fondotinta: per favorissimo, della vostra tonalità di pelle, o una sfumatura più chiara. Miglior prodotto mai provato: MAC Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15.
- mascara: carino in tutte le occasioni, e se non avete tempo per truccarvi, c'è sempre qualche minuto libero per mettere un po' di mascara. Prodotto ♥: Covergirl LashBlast Volume Blasting.

3. NON E' MAI TROPPO.
Odio quando una persona si mette un vestito, le sta perfettamente, ma chiede "ma non è troppo?"; troppo.. cosa? ti sta da dio, non aver paura di portarlo solo perché qualcuno potrebbe dire qualcosa (tipo.. "è troppo nuda", "quel vestito è troppo audace", "gli accessori sono troppo strani" ecc.). La mia prima regola è "Mi piace. Mi sta bene. Allora cosa aspettiamo?".

4. I TUOI COLORI SONO I MIGLIORI COLORI CHE HAI.
Quando arriva l'estate, è come se tutti fossero presi dalla febbre da abbronzatura. Tutti devono essere abbronzati. Meglio ancora, bruciati. Carbonizzati. Quando viene fuori il primo solo, la maggior parte dei miei amici corrono a farsi mille lampade, o usano un fondotinta due volte più scuro della loro carnagione, e non usano alcuna protezione solare. Io uso la protezione 30 tutto l'anno (la mia preferita è Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess - ha un profumo fantastico) e tutti mi guardano come se fossi matta. Ho provato a spiegare ai miei amici che il sole fa male alla pelle, ma li ha presi la febbre da abbronzatura, ed è troppo tardi LOL. In più, mi rimproverano per essere troppo pallida. Ma a me piace il mio colore di pelle. Penso che ognuno dovrebbe essere contento del proprio :)

5. OGNUNO HA IL PROPRIO PROFUMO.
Non mi piace quando le persone cercano di convincermi a provare i loro profumi e eau de toilette. Voglio dire, se mi piace su di te, non significa per forza che mi piaccia su di me. Ho una o due fragranze che mi piacciono su di me (per esempio Eternity For Man di Calvin Klein) - sono molto pignola quando si tratta di profumi - e uso sempre gli stessi. In più preferisco usare creme profumate per il corpo che non profumi, l'alcool non fa per me :)

Mad about Matte

My new love is matte. No MATTEr where, no MATTEr how, I love it on lipsticks, on cars (the new Lancia Delta Hard Black is out, and it's fantastic), and I love it on nail polishes. Unfortunately in Italy it's kinda hard to find them.. MAC did a limited edition a few months ago, with two colors, Black Enough? and Wham Bam Glam (I couldn't find the second one.. one day and already sold out!). Deborah is doing now the new collection, it's called Sense Tech 100% Mat. I got the number 04 - what a pity they don't have a name.. I love cosmetics with fancy names :D - on nails it's pretty similar to Chanel's Nouvelle Vague, except it's matte, which is so much better in my opinion.

Il mio nuovo amore è il matte -opaco-. Non importa come, non importa dove, mi piace sui rossetti, sulle macchine (è appena uscita la nuova Lancia delta Hard Black, ed è fantastica), e mi piace sugli smalti. Sfortunatamente in Italia è un po' difficile reperirli.. MAC ha fatto un'edizione limitata qualche mese fa, è uscito con due colori, Black Enough? e Wham Bam Glam (non sono riuscita a trovare il secondo.. erano fuori da un giorno ed era già esaurito!). Black Leather Studded Leg Guards

I literally L.O.V.E them. They're made by Lady Starlight. For those who don't know, she's a hard rock DJ, and collaborates with Lady GaGa since her debut.
Here you can find her MySpace, and here's the link to her online shop. She has some cute items, but those are fantastic, in my opinion. I don't know if I'll get the chance to buy them (few budget these days), but I hope so!
